1999 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru (2/1/2021)
Five years since the last bottle I opened of this, and it turns out that is about right. No rush, but it’s drinking very well. Forest floor aromas are accented by cherry compote, and rich, warm herbal notes infuse the mid palate. It’s a breath of serenity in turbulent times. Linger with the aromas, and feel them, more than smell them. The finish echoes the aromas, and hovers like the final note of a hymn.

The Ursules is usually a great value. I have some of these at offsite, sounds like good time to pull.

I would certainly at least try one if you have them.

Merci

(There’s a Dune reference that works, but I have already used it.)

Thanks for the report. I have some of this from vintages in the late 90s.
