Tried this new Riesling at Kokomans last night:
1. Heinrich Spindler Riesling Forster trocken Pfalz (Biowein; 12.5%; www.WeingutHeinrichSpindler.De; SchatziImprts/Milan/NY) 2017: Med.gold color; lovely floral/R/mango/bit pineapple fairly mineral/flinty/slatey quite aromatic nose; very tart/tangy fairly mineral/steely/flinty strong floral/R/mango/pineapple totally dry but not austere lip-smackin'good/savory flavor; very long quite dry tart/tangy steely/mineral fairly strong R/floral/mango quite savory finish; a really lovely fragrant dry R at a very good price. $23.00 (KK)

1. I was quite impressed by this R. Lots of mineral character you find more in a Mosel than a Pfalz. Seems to be totally dry but not at all austere. A real find.
