2015 Cantina dei Produttori Nebbiolo di Carema Carema Selezione - Italy, Piedmont, Northern Piedmont, Carema (1/27/2021)
Continuing the exploration of this producer, with my first bottle of Selezione. It’s only slightly more concentrated than the baseline wine, but it shows an intense floral element alongside subtle cherry fruit. It’s very elegant, even to the point of being understated, but the pretty aromatics draw me back time and time again. I left 1/3 of the bottle to check on later this week. We’ll see how it develops.
