2017 Rhys Chardonnay Horseshoe Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (1/10/2021)Bright, fresh, but without much in the way of aromatic or flavor depth. I would not have been shocked if it was a lightly oaked $20 Chablis from a ripe vintage. I have a lot more of this, so hopefully it was just a phase. Not much change over the course of four hours that I had it.
Maybe the wine was sad that the Colts lost this weekend.
