2016 Sottimano Barbaresco Basarin - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (1/4/2021)An elegant sculpture holding a piece of 50-grit sandpaper. This will take a lot of time to come into true drinking form, but should be glorious when it does. The material is there, but patience will be required. My early look was for purely reference purposes. Left half the bottle to check later this week.

We drank a '10 recently, a gift I was told was "about ready". Definitely would have left it longer.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

2010 is a tricky vintage in Barbaresco. Much more dependable in Barolo.
