2008 Alfred Merkelbach Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (12/28/2020)An elegant miniature by today's standards, but fully what kabinett was always expected to be before climate change altered perceptions and expectations. Still showing some primary fruit, but also a bit of oily development. Spice lingers on the finish, as if it's been dusted across the top. Lovely, drinkable wine.
