1990 Ruffino Chianti Classico Reserva Ducale Oro -

Amazingly dark in colour and with an interesting spice (nutmeg, anise) nose along with dark cherry. In the mouth it was full and balanced with soft tannin and no astringency at the end of a medium length smooth finish. Having looked at other recent reviews of the same wine it is evident that storage conditions of many tasters are variable and bottle variation seems common, so don't take it to heart of someone else's bottle tanks - yours may be very good. I hadn't opened one of these for maybe a decade and I am glad I waited - it is in a very good place right now.
