Tried these two last night w/ DinDin:
1. Kruger-Rumpf Dautenpflanzer Riesling Nahe Spatlese (8%; GA; A.P.Nr.7 702 089 041 20) Munster/Sarmsheim 2019: Loud pop from the screwcap when opened; med.light gold color; strong R/mango/floral/bit pineapple slight flinty/steely/mineral quite aromatic nose; quite tart/tangy bit metallic/steely some sweet (1.0-1.5% r.s.) strong floral/R/mango/pineapple light mineral/flinty bit simple flavor; very long/lingering fairly sweet quite tart/tangy rather flinty/steely/mineral strong floral/R/mango/pineapple finish; shows the classic rich/lush character of Nahe; a bit simple now but should get much better over 6-12 yrs. $27.00 (KK)
_______________
2. Bedrock Zin CarlisleVnyd/RRV/SonomaCnty (Plntd: 1927; 14.9%) 2019: Very dark color; intense very peppery/RRV Zin intense blackberry/Zin/ripe/boysenberry/very spicy light vanilla/toasty/oak fairly dusty/OV fairly complex beautiful nose; lightly tart very spicy/black pepper/RRV Zin intense blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/ripe fairly dusty/OV light toasty/oak some complex flavor w/ ample ripe/round tannins; very long/lingering intense RRV Zin/black pepper intense very spicy/Zin/blackberry some complex finish w/ strong ripe tannins; shows lots of ripeness w/o the alcohol or being overripe/over-the-top/jammy; another standout Carlisle Zin from Morgan; should go out 10 yrs or longer. $42.00

As I mentioned elsewhere, the K-R is more likely 7-8% r.s.
Sadly overlooked producer - their wines, dry to sweet, are outstanding.
