2016 Caparsa Chianti Classico
Silky black fruits and plenty of acid and tannin. A delicious profile that works very well with dinner and continues to get better after dinner (showing more depth to the fruit and more nuance to the flavors).

2016 Caparsa Chianti Classico Riserva "Caparsino"
This is lovely. Much deeper and suaver than the CC. Firm stony mineral fruit that combines dense velvet flesh with drive and acid lift. All three of these are delicious, but this is by far my favorite.

2015 Caparsa Chianti Classico Riserva "Caparsino"
Speaks to the vintage because it is clearly kin to the 2016 Caparsino, but the fruit is broader, riper and doesn't quite have the same stony clarity. Nonetheless, a delicious focused wine that I will be happy to revisit.
