- 2018 Ridge Lytton Springs - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (12/19/2020)
From half bottle this immediately shows its breeding. The suave berry fruit, and precise frame speak to the vineyard and the producer. It’s clearly a Ridge wine, and the flavor carries on forever. I wish I had opened a full bottle. In comparison to the 2018 Pagani Ranch, which I opened the other day, this has more richness, and so more early appeal. That said, there’s no question that it can go the distance the way Lytton always does.
