2004 Château Palmer Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend
Damn this is fine! Will never be the '61 but once again it's an out-performer in an otherwise unheralded vintage. Decanted one hour with minimal sediment, Margaux nose, violets, tobacco, black cherry fruit and a touch of cocoa. Medium bodied, resolved tannins--drank like silk. At its best now but can cruise from here for years.
