WTN: Booker Remnant PasoRobles RW '05...(short/boring)

Tried this from the archives last week:
1. Booker Remnant PasoRobles RW (Inaugral Vintage; 50% Syrah + 3 Cab varieties; 15.5%; www.BookerWines.com) EG&B by BookerVnyd/PasoRobles 2005: Dark color w/ some browning; some cedary/pencilly/oldRed some toasty/oak rather ripe/PR jammy/Syrah/boysenberry some chocolatey/licorice bit alcoholic/fumey very ripe bit tired/fading nose; soft ripe/lush/jammy some alcoholic/fumey quite ripe/jammy/chocolaty/boysenberry/Syrah bit tired/dried out flavor w/ light ripe/tangy tannins; long rather hot/alcoholic tangy/metallic rather ripe/boysenberry/Syrah/jammy some toasty/oak finish; a very ripe PR Syrah w/ lots of ripeness & alcohol in the process of breaking up on the shoals of overripe/alcoholic fruit; interesting but not offer up much pleasure. $30.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This was the Inaugural Vintage from Eric Jensen. Eric made wine w/ JustinSmith/Saxum & Steven d'Asseo/L'Aventure for several yrs, afore starting his own wnry. Booker comes from the names of two brothers who had large holdings there in WestSide Paso.
I liked this wine quite a lot upon release. But, like Saxum, the Booker wines developed a cult-following and the prices rose considerably and they dropped off my radar.
