2018 Loring Wine Company Pinot Noir Rancho La Vina - USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills (11/28/2020)Shockingly light color density. Even from a full glass this is translucent. Rhubarb, cherry, spice and a hint of cola on the nose are followed up by a merely light to medium bodied palate. It struggles a little to hide it’s alcohol due to the lightness, but after thirty minutes it fills out, and achieves a pretty balance. Interesting wine that strikes me as an outlier in the Loring range.

Definitely doesn't sound like any Loring wine I've ever had or what grapes in the region Brian buys grapes from would present. Very young vines?
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
