Launching into my newly-arrived Bedrock stash, I tried early this week:
1. Bedrock Riesling WirzVnyd/CienegaVlly (13.5%; Plntd: 1963; Dry farmed/Own rooted; Tended: Pat Wirz) 2019: Lots of mesmerizing tiny bubbles swirling about when poured almost makes it look cloudy, but disappate after a minute or two; light gold color; quite attractive floral/R/mango rather mineral/chalky/steely quite interesting nose; rather tart/tangy fairly chalky/flinty/steely slight CO2/prickle some R/floral/mango totally dry slightly rich/lush quite interesting flavor; very long slight CO2/prickle rather mineral/chalky some floral/R/mango finish; quite a lovely Calif R w/ good balance of R fruit & mineral/chalky character; should go out 8-10 yrs or longer; very well-priced at $20.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I was mightly impressed by this yr's edition of the OV Zin. Lots of bright brisk Zin fruit but still the structure to improve over several yrs. It's dishonest to buy a Zin this good at this price.
