2006 Copain Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard Anderson Valley
Crunchy red fruit up front woven through layers of dirt and gravel, with perky acidity on the finish. This wine is only middle-aged; it had the right evolutionary notes to accompany a white truffle omelet but it has the fruit and stuffing to age like a great Burgundy from here.

Excellent. Did you know that Wells has a new venture?

I knew something was in the works, I believe in the Anderson Valley where this wine came from but I know nothing else. Fill me in!

I bought a mixed six pack (1 Chard, 1 Syrah, 4 different Pinots). Will start posting notes in a few weeks once the wines settle down a bit.

Thanks, read thru the website. I'm almost more interested in the syrah than the pinots! I'll look forward to your notes.
