WTN: Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq...quatre, cinq

2016 Division Winemaking Company Pinot Noir Deux Eola Springs Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (11/17/2020)
I cannot for the life of me understand why this producer does not get more attention. They embody all of the virtues that hard core geeks hold dear with their artisanal, terroir expressive and varietally distinctive wines. This bottling embodies those virtues, with a light touch. Red fruit, loamy earth, a bit of top note spice, and a subtle dusting of finishing tannins make an elegant whole that ask me “why don’t you drink these wines more often?”

p.s. Jenise - I am drinking PNW wines, but just from a bit further south.

Point taken. Say, I have some Division. Never opened a bottle. Can't remember what, even, except that it needed time. Maybe it was a '12 pinot? I'll check.

I've had a few wines from them, and they got my attention. Some very nice Gamay, too!
