Tried ystrday this new wine in at Kokomans:
1. Dom.Rietsch Tout Blanc Alsace (50% Riesling/Auxerrois; U/lF; CamilleRiviereSlctns; 12.5%) 2019: Med.gold color; rather earthy some light floral/R/fruity slight chalky clean rather simple bit rustic/coarse nose; quite tart/tangy/bit metallic bfairly earthy/bit chalky light floral/R/fruity rather simple coarse flavor; med.short fairly earthy/chalky very light floral/R/fruity finish w/ very slight natty/wet dog fur far in the backtaste; quite clean for a natural wine but pretty earthy/coarse and just not very interesting. $29.50/litre (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Previous weekend I'd tried the Dom.Rietsch PinotGris Ramato. Didn't much care for it as it was a bit too natty for my tastes. So I tried this one w/ low expectations. The wine fully delivered on those expectations.
The back label said Alsace. But nowhere on the label did it say AC Alsace. So don't know if this was a legal Alsatian wine or not.
Probably not likely to try any more Dom.Rietsch wines.
