2018 Enfield Wine Co. Pretty Horses - USA, California (11/14/2020)
Yep, this is in fact, pretty. The addition of Grenache to this cuvée has supplemented the structured fruit with a degree of juiciness that makes it irresistibly drinkable. I opened it at 4 PM, and started smiling at 4:05. Deep cherry fruit, new leather, a wafting top note of spice and herb, all come together in what feels like comfort wine. It was very hard to not drink the whole bottle by 6 PM.
