2018 Idlewild Barbera Fox Hill Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Mendocino County (11/6/2020)Succulent, dark red fruit backed by blistering yet entirely appropriate acidity...it finds its stride when accompanying a pizza, where the fat of the pie marries to the acidity of the wine. Then it’s pretty much perfect, as so many of the Idlewild wines are with food.
