The article states that the sweet dessert wines of Ramandola are made from Friuliano, which is locally called Verduzzo Giallo. I had always it was just made from Verduzzo and was different from Friuliano.
The article also states the the wines of the Kras/Carso, because they are in the province of Trieste, are not considered as part of Friuli.
Anyway...nothing profound but interesting to read about one of my favorite areas of Italy.
