2007 Ridge Geyserville
Opened and immediately recorked after draining the sediment. Two hours later when I served it--tired, done. Other reports on CT are rosier but like the Leoville Bartons I reported on a few days ago, this has been a dud case since the beginning. Only one bottle left--time for crow stew?

Who did you buy those two wines form? Same source?

Makes zero sense.

You're onto something, it was the same. The original Wine Commune. Tons of deals, shooting-turkeys-in-a-barrel. Starting bids $1. Highest bidder one week later wins, however high or low. Got many good wines that way, but these two stand out as wrong. Lightly cooked, most likely.
