- 2016 Project M Riesling Schlüssel - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (10/25/2020)
A couple of years in the cellar has been good to this. It still has zesty lime fruit and a salty mineral base. It has added a tiny bit of that Riesling “valve oil/petrol” to the mix. It’s maybe not everyone’s favorite aromatic, but it does add some complexity, and for a long time Riesling fanatic it’s quite alright. Good stuff here, and makes me want to try future vintages.
I would be interested to know vine age for this wine.
