Tried this the other night w/ dessert:
1. Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Molitor BA Riesling Mosel (QmP; A.P.Nr. 2 576 609 35 07; www.MarkusMolitor.com; 7.0%) Zeltingen 2005: Deep golden/burnished bronze color; intense botrytis/apricotty/peachy bit earthy/dusty some pencilly/cedary very fragrant/perfumedrather complex/old BA beautiful nose; rather soft quite sweet bit tangy/metallic intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty some earthy/bit mineral quite complex beautiful flavor; very long/lingering quite sweet intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty slight cedary/pencilly bit earthy complex finish; a beautiful BA w/ loads of botrytis that will go another 10-20 yrs.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This wine was totally dominated by the botrytis and would be hard-pressed to identify it as Mosel or even German if served blind. But a delicious BA it was.

Heavy botrytis wines are delicious, but often impossible to pin down for grape and or place.
