Tried this ystrday w/ Susan & Sue, who is recovering from a broken femur:
1. Ryme RibollaGialla VareVnyd/NapaVlly (13.1%) 2013: Deep golden/bronze/almost rose color; light phenolic/resiny/VinoMacerati some honeyed/honeycomb/graham cracker slight white pepper/RG some complex nose; fairly tart/tangy/austere/tannic strong phenolic/resiny/VM some honeycomb/graham cracker some complex flavor w/ strong tannic bite; very long austere/tannic strong phenolic/VM some honeycomb/graham cracker bit complex finish; strill needs 4-7 yrs to become approachable on the palate; quite severe/austere still on the palate & a paucity of RG fruit; reminds some of a young Kabaj RG.
