Sometimes you open a bottle and it's just magical. Thus it was last night with a Domaine Santa Duc, Les Hautes Garrigiues, Gigondas 2016. On opening, the nose was enormous. Right out of the bottle, the taste was huge, full of fruit. The second glass was even better because we could not resist having another. I can only imagine what this will be like in a few years.
