2004 Mad Dogs and Englishmen, Jumilla. It cost $9.99 and contains 14% alcohol. The wine consists of 60% Monastrell, 20% "Shiraz", and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
It has an almost opaque purple color, and smelled and tasted of lush red and black fruit on the nose and upfront. It had a lot of earthy tones in the middle, and finished fine.
Matched it with Swiss steak made out of the leftover meatball meat, pilaf, and nuked zucchini. It was a great Monday night.
