Fabulous showing for this wine. Precise, mineral, rich in flavor but not at all oversweet. This was quite Kabinett, in the modern mold. It seemed like it could cruise along in its current state of young adulthood for 15 or 20 more years before starting a slow ride into full maturity. Potential full lifespan greatly exceeds mine. It has better balance than I do.

Where are the baseball puns? Was this wine a home run? Did you pirate any to your cellar?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

The wine Bravely met the challenge of a tough reviewer.
