Yes! We're all pretty happy about that. A point though: at one time there was essentially Walla Walla and Columbia Valley. Maybe Puget Sound to address the areas west of the Cascades, though there's not much here. Columbia Valley isn't so much a place as a catch-all for everything that wasn't Walla Walla. As a designation of its own, it's relatively meaningless as the variety of geographical constituents in a long stretch of north to south means there's no typicity. Slowly but surely, new areas with specific characteristics are being identified. Royal Slope has been in the works for a few years, there are three or four more in the pipeline including one, I love this name, called Candy Mountain.
