WS: RobertCamuto on Lageder/Sudtirol...

A particularly good article in WS by Robert Camuto on the wines of Alois Lageder:
WS:Lageder

It describes a lot of the innovative work they are doing in the vnyd. Interesting that they are returning to the use of pergola training.
They are working with the Greek Asyritiko grape.
They make a wine from the indigenous/rare Blatterle grape. Anybody tried a Blatterle?
Anyway, a quite good read. In two parts.
