Lockdown Wine # 47. Short note on this one. Indice 2 on the Zind-Humbrecht scale, so just a hint of sweetness. Fairly rich. Ripe yellow tropical fruit. Mango and peach. A little rosewater maybe. I'm surprised at how fast I drank it, even if it was a little warmer than I wanted. Had a fennel salad with this and it worked rather nicely. Followed up with linguini with enoki and shimeji mushrooms, asparagus, and a bit more fennel, and it was still a pretty good match. Just failed when it went up against the scallops. Still, not a bad wine at all and in a very nice place at the moment.

What was the issue with the scallops? Too rich?

Made the wine taste fishy.
