WTN: A mesmerizing Apremont

2018 Domaine des 13 Lunes Vin de Savoie Apremont
100% Jacquere, 11.5% abv. Don't usually score wines, but in writing this note for CT I found it important to elevate the group-think, settling too low in the high 80's, about a pretty mesmerizing little Apremont we had last weekend. I gave it 91. The additional bottle age of my bottle vs. prior reviewers' is probably not insignificant to my higher esteem. More body with more facets than any Apremont I can remember, with chalky minerality and white flowers segueing into ripe pear, lychee and lemonade, with peanut on the finish as the wine warmed on a hot afternoon. Unusually serious fun for just $20.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
