2018 Once & Future Wine Zinfandel Old Hill Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (7/30/2020)
My first Old Hill Ranch wine was the 1991 Ravenswood. Pop the cork On this 2018, and I am taken back in time like Proust and his madeleines. Red fruit, cedar, spice, dusty earth, it’s all there like a big grapevine hug. A few sips later it’s a reverie, and decades of Zinfandel memories come flooding back. Wine can do that. It takes you up and brings you down, right back where you started from.

Great note. Yes, wine can do that.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
