Lockdown Wine #42. Porchetta for dinner so another Italian. Woody, minty nose. Powerful tannins but they faded pretty quickly. Not a lot going on here. Pretty earthy, but otherwise, not much going on. Rather hollow. Drank it over 2 hours and no change. Meh, uninteresting. Glad I made space in the cellar for a more worthy bottle, and made up for it by celebrating National Tequila Day with an 1800 Añejo.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
