We tried this Fri night:
1. Chanrion Perle de Gamay VdF WW (12.5%; MeBalP; KermitLynchImprts) Nicole et Romain Chanrion "LesCrozes"/Cercie/Beaujolais 2018: Very pale rose/golden/bit orange color; lightly fragrant floral/apple blossom very quiet almost vapid nose; bit soft/lush very light floral/apple blossom slight earthy rather bland flavor; short very light floral/apple blossom slight earthy very quiet/bland finish; some pleasant low-key floral character but charging headlong into vapid/bland territory. $21.50 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Romain recently joined his Mom at Chanrion and this is his brainchild. Made from direct-to-press Gamay, hence the general VdF designation. Another pricey Kermit-Lynch wine. Not a bad wine, just another Oakland wine...there's no there, there.
