2011 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (7/13/2020)
Two years since my first bottle, and this is much more approachable. It’s still structured, but at least the entry and mid-palate has opened up, and it only clamps down on the finish. It’s now a cat that lets you pick her up, and pat her for a while, then claws your arm to put her down. Another couple of years could be very beneficial. There’s definitely enough fruit to handle a good deal more aging. It’s OK to drink now, if you like a little blood with your pleasure.[/list]

Boy that dates you. Dates me to recognize it, too. :)

When nobody responded for a while I wondered if I had delved too deep.
