Had this wine last week:
1. Abtei-Muri Weissburgunder Riserva Dd'OC: Sudtirol Terlaner WW (14%; ToscoWineImports) Muri-Gries des Szukics Stefan/Bolzano 2016: Med.dark gold color; strong floral/PB/spicy bit earthy/melong/ripe/Chard-likensome toasty/smokey/oak some complex nose; fairly tart/tangy rather rich/lush/textured strong PB/floral/melony/bit appley some smokey/toasty/oak light earthy/mineral/chalky somewhat complex lovely flavor; very long/lingering ripe/melony/floral/PB some toasty/smokey/oak/almost Burgundian some chalky/mineral some complex finish; not the usual austere Weissburgunder character with very good aromatics; one of the best Sudtirol Weissburgunders I can recall having.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is a wine that comes from EnotecaVinoNostro, the retail outlet of Tosco Imports. They have a very good/interesting selection of Italian wines that I find invariably good.
