WTN: Bruno Paillard Champagne Brut Premiere Cuvée NV

Lockdown wine #37. No deaths today, and the number of reported infections down by almost half. Good day, all things considered.

Decided on a champagne today as it would go well with a wide range of foods. Good choice, I think. Medium bodied, creamy, lemon curd, easygoing style. Not a steely, bone dry wine. Went well with a salade Niçoise, paté en croûte, and plain strawberries for dessert. Short note as I was more focused on the food than the wine. Aside from a glass for the missus, I drank the whole bottle in one sitting; something I've rarely done since this whole COVID business started.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

At the $40 level here in America, one of the best NV's on the market. Cashmere texture, with character.

Good news about the numbers there, a reason to celebrate.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
