- 2015 Bernando Estévez Villar Chanselus Castes Tintas - Spain, Galicia, Ribeiro (6/30/2020)
Fresh, and surprisingly grapey for a 2015. It has an almost carbonic quality, as the fruit is completely unvarnished, and kissed by the sun. There’s an underlying rare meat quality, and the finish has a kick of tough tannin, but there’s plenty of fruit to allow that to soften out. Some finishing herb and spice tones make it more than just a quaffer. This is worth following for a few years.
