WTN: 1993 Clos de la Roche, Armand Rousseau

Deep, translucent red-purple with some brick at the edges. Inviting aromas of red and dark fruits. On the palate it exhibits both strength and grace. A classic grand cru from a fine year, crafted by a skilled producer at the top of his game. Triple Curly.

That sounds great. I'm a big '93 fan. And a big Rousseau fan, though I can no longer afford (never could afford the big 3, but used to be able to buy a bottle or two of the CdlR or Ruchottes). What a big celebration you had!
