- 2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Langhe Nebbiolo - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC (6/26/2020)
Visiting the Produttori two years ago, Aldo Vacca said that the 2016 Langhe could have all gone into the regular Barbaresco. Tasting it tonight it was clear that he was right. The balance of fruit and tannin was spot on, and the finish was all rosé petals and new leather. Fabulous wine with a long future, except that I am going to drink the rest of my bottles much too soon.

Eighteen months later I opened another one. Still mostly youthful. Still very tasty.
