2016 In The Hall of the Mountain Queen Red Mountain Red Bordeaux Blend
Don't usually give scores but threw 90 pts at this in order to deflate a 98 point review on CT. This is very good, but. Closer to medium than full bodied, bright and juicy, lots of red fruit, more fun than serious but serious fun for right now. Does not have the structure for 12 more years as someone else indicated.

2010 Force Majeure Collaboration Series Ptera Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Red Mountain Red Blend
Exactly as DEVMAN reported on CT three years ago: "I really enjoyed this wine. It's not a fruit bomb, which is probably why I like it so much. The smoky, meaty syrah comes out more than the cab does. Graphite, olive, licorice and leather on the nose. Smooth, juicy and well balanced mouthfeel with dark cherry, toasty oak, mocha and earthiness. Long finish with a fair amount of tannin. Good stuff." Hasn't changed an iota, which speaks well for the days ahead.
2005 Outpost Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain
Rustic and gritty, nicely aged with decent fruit but I suspect prime time was about five years ago.
2012 Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin Okanagan Valley VQA Red Bordeaux Blend
Opened two hours before dinner and decanted. Sample taste was GREAT--everything in perfect balance. Thrilling. By dinner time, however, the fruit was in serious decline and parchy tannins killed the finish. Pretty sad. Drink up.
