2009 Bard Haut, dark purple even to edge, palate of black fruit with slight herb and med-tannins. Needs 5+ more years for full integration. No complexity and will never be a 95 pt. wine but maybe 90 someday.
A R Lenoble "Intense" Champagne, nice nose of fresh baked bread with flavors of same and pear fruit also. Medium straw color. Not intense to me but still very pleasant.
2014 Louis Martini Napa Cabernet. Very fine medium bodied Napa Cabernet with abundant black fruit, mostly cassis, semi-resolved tannins and good acidity all in perfect balance. Will age just fine.
2013 Frogpondfarm Riesling from Ontario. Cooked unfortunately with obvious note of Maderia.
2016 Crystal Creek Estate Riesling from Columbia Valley Wash. An Aldi discount grocery wine. 13.3% abv. For 6 bucks not bad with medium Riesling fruit (no citrus) and adequate acidity. Glad to be done with the last two.
