- 1990 Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon - France, Champagne (6/4/2020)
From magnum, and showing very well, especially my second pour, which came about two hours after the first. Initially a bit too chilly, it was dense and a bit impenetrable. The second pour was more revealing, toasty, still quite dense/powerful, but with layers of background complexity covering apple, citrus, baking spices, warm hay and lightly toasted almonds. Quite delicious.
