A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Schioppettino is the grape resurected from the extinct by Paolo Rapuzzi at Ronchi de Cialla. They still make my gold standard for Schioppettino, but this one is a close second. Schio and PicolitNeri are my two favorite reds from Friuli, ahead of Refosco, because they generally have more structure. Heck....even the Merlots from Friuli are...not so bad.
