WTN: Lingua Franca

Would someone who speaks French please tell me what this translates to? Bob and I decided 'French tongue' but that's probably not it.

2015 Lingua Franca Pinot Noir AVNI Eola - Amity Hills
PnP'd. Softer and very malolactic on entry--like the wine version of strawberry preserves and butter on a croissant. It eventually firms up a bit more but stays in that lane with a lightly waxy mouthfeel. Have heard very good things about this winery hence me picking up this bottle, but have to say this one foray won't encourage me to buy again.
