WTN: trying to be a good sport

by Jim Grow » Mon May 25, 2020 11:25 pm

2008 Sportoletti Villa Fidelia my last bottle and the best one. Cassis and other black fruit dominate with a touch of minerality. Tannins are present but subdued. A total pleasure to drink now but this wine still has 2-3 years before peak maturity and will drink well for 5-10 years after that I believe. Bordeaux
