Had these two last weekend:
1. Solminer GrunerVeltliner SpearVnyd/Sta.RitaHills/SBCnty (13.8%; 185 cs; www.Solminer.com) Buellton/SBC 2019: Med.light gold color; strong graham cracker/vanilla wafer some GV/white pepper/floral/spicy some complex very interesting/attractive lovely nose; lightly tart very interesting graham cracker/vanilla wafer some light GV/white pepper/floral quiet/low-key flavor; very long rather graham cracker/vanilla wafer light GV/white pepper finish; a quiet understated expression of GV w/ some interesting things therein; very attractive if low-key white. $34.00
____________
2. Carlisle GrunerVeltliner SteinerVnyd/SonomaMtn/SonomaCnty (14.1%; 230 cs) Windsor 2017: Light gold color; intense GV/white pepper/very spicy slight perfumed talc/herbal complex beautiful nose; bit soft very strong GV/white pepper/floral/very spicy light chalky/mineral some complex beautiful flavor; very long/lingering very strong GV/white pepper/floral/slight herbal/melony light chalky/perfumed talc bit complex finish; has put on weight and is evolving into a beautiful Smaargd-level GV. $32.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. The Carlisle GV continues to be my gold-standard for Calif GV. The Solminer has always been on the quiet side, but I thought this their most interesting/best GV yet.

Received my first allocation of Carlisle this year. Bought 2 2018 Gruners Sonoma Mtn/Sonoma County, Steiner Vineyard.

Your info sounds promising. Thanks for posting!
