A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Altesse: This is from the Roussette or Altesse grape variety. Once thought to be related to Furmint but later disproved by DNA. The Roussette AC used to allow up to 50% Chard to be blended in but that is now prohibited.
This was maybe the best Altesse I've tried. Incredibly aromatic w/ a nice minerality. If you put your ear down close to the glass, you can hear JulieAndrew's lilting voice of "The Hills Are Alive" wafting over from yonder peak.
