Tried this tonight w/ Susan:
1. Giacomo Grimaldi Sauvignon DOC: Langhe (13.5%; GiulianaImports/Boulder) Barolo 2018: Med.gold color; very light/quiet new mown hay/Kansas haymow very slight melony/SB slight earthy/herbal nose; fairly tart/grapefruity/tangy very light melony/SB/herbal some fresh mown hay/new mown grass slight earthy flavor; med.long tart/tangy slight melony/herbal/SB bit earthy/grapefruity finish; a very quiet white that speaks of SB with a whisper; rather dull borerding on vapid; this is how Charles Shaw would make SB in Piemonte if he could. Overpriced at $16.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Susan pretty much likes every white wine I throw her way. Even she declared this to not be a very interesting white. That tells how dull & vapid this was.
