The wine is full of minerality--cold steel--pure and a bit austere. The fruit notes recall grapefruit or lemon--in the citrus camp anyway--but the mineral notes tend to be in the forefront. Although the wine is not at all buttery, it did pair well with buttered, salted popcorn. This is a nice Sauvignon Blanc that I thought was reasonably priced at about $22 before tax. (From my note on CellarTracker.)
